Esomo is updated to version 1.11
Esomo 1.11 has an advanced authentication mechanism and a new version of Esomo Admin:
- added the export statistics to Microsoft Excel;
- added the calculation of the total amount of ingoing and outgoing traffic, as well as the cost of traffic;
- added the sorting statistics in the tables in ascending / descending.

Esomo official release for Wi-Fi networks
A new version of the Esomo software router has been released, including all required services for Wi-Fi networks. The following extended functionality and updated components are available in the new Esomo:
- added static and dynamic DHCP;
- added the possibility to work with wireless access points supporting WPA and WPA2;
- user authorization in wireless networks is done via EAP-TLS digital certificates that can be revoked at any time if necessary;
- user statistics displays traffic usage both for paid and free (non-chargable) networks;
- minor bugs in HTTP-redirector were fixed;
- communication protocol between the Esomo server and the Esomo Admin was improved.

Testing of the Esomo beta-version for Wi-Fi networks has finished
We thank all who participated in testing! We achieved the goal we set – all specialists could install and configure Esomo in their Wi-Fi networks without assistance. Creating a wireless office network with Esomo “from scratch” normally took our system administrators around an hour. All recommendations made while testing will be implemented in the final release.

The Esomo beta-version for Wi-Fi networks has been released
A new Esomo version can work with access points supporting RADIUS authentication (802.1x / EAP) and WPA / WPA2 encryption. We've included a two-way authentication mechanism through EAP-TLS protocol, which enables mutual authentication check of both the client and Esomo server via preliminarily created and installed digital certificates. Using EAP-TLS together with traffic encryption via VPN allows creating a highly secure wireless network, which can stand unauthorized user connections, traffic listening, and deployment of "false" access points.

Esomo Admin is updated to version 1.1
A new version of Esomo Admin has a redesigned GUI, improved communication protocol, and new possibilities in managing network parameters and billing system. The main "candies" of the new Esomo Admin:
- creating database backup copies with all Esomo settings. In case of unsuccessful experiments, you can restore Esomo from the backup copy with a couple of mouse-clicks;
- importing group and user list (with name, login, and password) from User Gate and Active Directory.

The first version of Esomo has been released
Esomo is software router offering traffic billing and designed to monitor shared Internet access, track traffic, protect network from external attacks, and reduce Internet-related expenses. All traffic between the user and Esomo is encrypted via a VPN tunnel, thus being unavailable for listening and intercepting. Due to scalable architecture, Esomo can be used in small-sized to enterprise-level companies' wired and wireless networks.
