autoVPN is an ActiveX-script-like software that automatically sets up a VPN connection at user PCs.
autoVPN does not require separate installation: an ActiveX control element is integrated in a standard web page and resides on a web server (local or remote). After a web page is loaded, the user has to enter the login and password for the connection, and autoVPN automatically configures a connection with a VPN server by a predefined scenario.
Advantages of integrating autoVPN:
- reduces load on tech support, minimizes the number of requests related to configuration of VPN connections;
- reduces load on users, they no longer should manually configure connections to a VPN server;
- applicable for any users, starts working immediately after a web page is loaded, does not require special knowledge or skills;
- does not have to be installed on user PCs, as centrally resides on a web server;
- works correctly under all Windows OS, version 98 and above;
- compatible with all popular browsers supporting ActiveX or having an ActiveX plugin.
autoVPN can be integrated into a corporate or provider infrastructure in one working day.
